Buzz Jones

CAROLINA BEACH-William Harvey Jones, “Buzz” born October 26, 1972 of Greensboro, NC, resided in Carolina Beach, NC, went to be with the Lord the morning of September 25, 2021. Buzz was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Jones and mother Nancy Jones. He was survived by his wife, Terri Jones; brother, Todd Jones; son, Eli Jones; three daughters, Sydney (Gleb), Kendall, and Hannah Jones; and in-laws Hugh(Sandra) Smith.

Buzz lived life to the fullest. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, father, friend, and Air Force veteran. The world knew him as a hard working, caring, loving man who would go depths for those he called family. Buzz knew no stranger, every person he came across, he made an impact. Friends were family, and family was truly cherished. He took pride in his wife and children. His wife, Terri, was his true best friend. His children, he bragged on continuously for their achievements throughout their lives. He loved coaching his daughters' soccer teams and cheering them on in their sports. As the owner of Above & Beyond Heating and Cooling, his hobbies also included playing golf, going to concerts, and spending time with loved ones.

Buzz will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held for his Carolina Beach family is being planned.
