Carolyn Ruth Roadman, a beacon of kindness and unconditional love, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024. Born on January 25, 1940, Carolyn lived a life full of love, laughter, and cherished moments with her family.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard, and their three daughters, Jackie, Susan, and Tina. Carolyn is survived by her three sons: Rick, Chas, and Bob.

Carolyn's legacy lives on within her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her heart was fullest when surrounded by her family, and she cherished each and every one of them. Grammy found immense joy in the presence of family and all their accomplishments. The most significant people in her life included her granddaughter Wendy Roadman and her fiancé Jessie Guest, as well as her great-grandsons Austin Roadman, Ashton McCallum, his boyfriend Kayden Mayo, and Brayden White.

She is also survived by her other beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Davey Sheppard and his wife Kara, with four great-grandchildren; Amy Barrow and her husband Kenny, with three great-grandchildren; Julia Roadman, with three great-grandsons; Amanda McCraney and her husband Stevie, with one great-grandson; Jonny Hammond and his wife Amanda, with five great-grandchildren; Kristin Roadman, with two great-grandchildren; Chris Hammond and his fiancée Samantha Sawyer; and Taylor Roadman.

Carolyn had an extraordinary love for horror movies and science fiction, which she enjoyed sharing with her family. She was also an avid knitter, creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones that will be treasured forever. Her beautiful blue eyes and radiant smile could light up any room, and she was known for her kind and loving nature, accepting everyone as they were.

Carolyn's legacy is one of unconditional love and acceptance. She never hesitated to give of herself and made everyone feel welcome and cared for. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

May she rest in eternal paradise.
