Faye Honeycutt Glennon

CAROLINA BEACH-Faye Honeycutt Glennon, 79, passed away Saturday January 29, 2022 as the soft gentle snowfall welcomed her. She was preceded in death by her parents Allen J. Honeycutt, Jr. and Frances Jacobs Honeycutt of Raleigh, NC. Faye had a daughter, JoAnn Duke/Patrick and grandchildren Corbin, Jarod, Lexie. Two Sisters Mary Aldridge/Irvin of Wilmington, Jessie Honeycutt of Sanford and two brothers Allen J. Honeycutt III/ Barbara of South Carolina and Randy Honeycutt/Donna of Raleigh. She also had a nephew Todd Stroupe/ Tina and great nephew Trevor . Faye lived her life in Raleigh and Eventually ended up at Carolina Beach. This is where she resided until her death. When Faye was asked where she lived, she said Carolina Beach but I am a Raleigh native! Faye was definitely blessed with a green thumb. She enjoyed growing vegetables and her grape vines, but what she loved was growing beautiful flowers. Our family loved the flowers from a rose bush that she cut pieces of and rooted. Faye was a faithful friend to all that knew her. She was always giving them food to take home, especially figs and grapes from her garden. Faye loved her family, especially her grandchildren Corbin, Jarod and Lexie. Not to forget her little Tippy. Faye will be missed by her family and so many friends. We would like to thank all the caregivers who helped Faye at home and at Cape Fear Hospice and Care Center. (including Jarod who has lived with her for the last 2 years and took great care). He did so much for her and we all appreciate it. They were true Angels in Faye’s Time of Need.
