Judy Elizabeth Larsen

Judy Elizabeth Fredere Larsen, born in Wilmington, NC on September 1st, 1942, passed away on July 28th, 2024 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
She attended New Hanover High school where she was apart of the Civil Air Patrol and graduated in 1960. Afterwards, she earned her welding degree at Cape Fear Community College in 1977.
Judy was an avid traveler. She spent much of her life traveling back and forth to Glenrose, Texas to work at the Nuclear plant during shutdowns. As much as she loved Texas and all the friends she met along the way, she always made her way back home to her family.
Judy is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Fredere and father, Jack Fredere along with her first grandson, Eddie Taylor.
Judy is survived by her older brother, Bobby Fredere. Her three children—Becky (Jay), of Pinnacle, NC, Mike (Lisa), and Teresa, both of Wilmington, NC. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren, along with several cousins.
