CHAPEL HILL - Michael “Brandon" Myers, 36, of Chapel Hill, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at Duke Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2024 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Mr. Myers was born on July 5, 1988, in Onslow County.
He was a man that had a great heart, and would do anything for anybody. He enjoyed listening to music, going out on the river to go clamming, fishing or shrimping. He loved his daughters and family. He had a quirky sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bernice and Mary Jenkins, and Joe and Elma Abbott; and his uncle, Kevin Jenkins.
He is survived by his father (who he lovingly called “Pops”) and mother, Sam and Kirstie Morales; his beloved daughters, Emily and Katrina; his brother, Ryan; his nephews Aayden and Stephen, his service dog Luna; and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Jones Funeral Home in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Aquamation Services have been entrusted to Tranquility Cremation by Aquamation in Wilmington, North Carolina.
