Michele Price

BURGAW - Michele Price left this earth to meet with her father up at the oyster bar in heaven June 12, 2022. She loved dancing, walks on the beach and spending time with her family. She was born in Alexandria, VA in May 1969 and raised in Sterling Park, VA until high school where she attended the old New Bern High School. She lived there until moving to Burgaw, NC in 2013. Her favorite places were zoos, destination vacations, music/county festivals and people watching at tourist locations. Her favorite colors were purple and dark blue. She loved the top 40 and country music. She obtained a certificate in Early Education and an Associates in Medical Office Administration. She work a good part of her life in corporate customer service and shipping/receiving. She always told it how it was no matter what the reactions were, and even though she was shy she was strong when needed. She was gentle, caring, and loving to everyone that matter to her and always put herself behind the wants and needs of her family. She was the glue that held this family together. There is a ray of glory for every step she walks in heaven. Michele Price was survived by husband Allen Price, daughters Taylor Wells (Royce) and Kim McCluarin, grandson Adrian Royal Wells, mother Janice Jenkins, sister Nicole Jenkins, brother David Jenkins, nieces Elizabeth Jenkins, Madison Jenkins and Julia Jenkins, great Nephew Sebastian Jenkins, and sister-in-law Charnelle Jenkins. She was preceded by her father Clyde Earl Jenkins.

Michele’s Celebration of life will be held at 224 Rockledge Rd. New Bern, NC 28562 June 25th at 3 PM. We will be led by Mike Pilgreen in this celebration.
