Richard George Harding

Richard “Dick” George Harding of Kure Beach, North Carolina died peacefully on the morning of September 21st, 2022 at the age of 78.
Dick Harding was born in Price, Utah on December 26th, 1943. He was the second of four children born to Edward Bailey and Lurean Stevens Harding.
Dick graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in finance. After a long career in international business, Dick retired to Kure Beach. Throughout the years he enjoyed traveling with friends, sailing, reading, and entertaining. Dick was the happiest when spending time with his family and making sure his grandchildren got all the ice cream they could eat.
Dick leaves behind his wife – Barbara Harding; sister – Marianne Burgoyne; sons – Brian (Kim) Harding and Scott (Kate) Harding; grandchildren – Madison, Alexander, Savannah, Cooper and Kellan; and many friends he has met over the years.
A private celebration of life with his immediate family will be held at a later date.
