Sherry Arnold

WILMINGTON - Sherry Macomber Arnold, 65, of Wilmington, NC passed away peacefully on the morning of August 8, 2022. She was born May 1, 1957 to the late Melvin Lee Watkins, Sr. and Ruby Mae Watkins.

Sherry lived most of her life in Wilmington but loved to travel any chance she had. Her smile and laughter were infectious and could easily light up any room she entered. She dedicated most of her life to her family whom she often credited to be the reason she continued to fight for her health. She is a monumental loss to all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Arnold; children, Jonathan Macomber, Benjamin Macomber (wife Tracy), Stephanie McAleer (husband Austin), Ashleigh Arnold (fiancé Michael Alderson); grandchildren, Payson Gagnier, Ryan Macomber, Karlee Price, Wyatt Macomber, Savannah Macomber; sibling Melvin "Buddy" Watkins, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Andrews Mortuary & Crematory, 1617 Market St, Wilmington, NC from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on August 20, 2022. A private burial will take place at a later date.
