Wanda Kaye Jones

GREENSBORO - Wanda Kaye Jones, 70, of Greensboro NC, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 surrounded by family at Moses Cone Hospital. Ms. Jones was born in Greensboro, NC on March 21, 1952, the daughter of Johnny Andrew Jones and Willomae Nixon Jones. Kaye loved spending time with all of her beloved pets, watching her grandchildren play sports and ballet, enjoyed trips to Walt Disney World, and the beach. She owned and operated a successful pet grooming and boarding kennel located in Greensboro, NC; while providing for her family and raising two sons as a single mother. She loved her grandchildren and great grandson. Kaye was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents Johnny A. Jones & Willowmae N. Jones, brother Larry K. Jones. Ms. Jones is survived by her children, Scott Jones and wife, Robin of Pleasant Garden NC, Kevin Jones, and wife Somer of Gibsonville NC; grandchildren Michael Jones and wife Chase of Greensboro NC, McKayla Jones of Wilmington NC, Garrett Jones; great grandson Crue Jones, sister, Cindy Jones, brother, Kent Jones, several nieces and nephews. Celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
